What's changing in 2025
The July 2024 decree put new responsibilities on owners: self-monitoring of discharges, stricter installation descriptions, better user information. Periodic inspections — still mandatory every 10 years max — are now supplemented by self-monitoring. And the 2025-327 law canceled mandatory transfer to intermunicipalities — communities can organize the service as they see fit.
